Hi there. I would like to make sure that I understand the project scope properly beforehand to make sure my bid is reasonable. If you are creating barcodes, am I to assume that the items do not currently have barcodes, and that you will be adding new products and barcodes on an ongoing basis after the project is complete? Are you looking to have something in place to create new codes for you on an ongoing basis, or are you trying to create barcodes for a set number of items - as a one-time thing. Are there any rules that bar codes need to follow, meaning are you encoding product categories and other information within the codes themselves? What database are you using to store the codes? is this being stored in spreadsheets or CSV instead? You mentioned that you have an existing POS system.. what is the POS software you are using? I assume the goal is that you can keep invetories of what is in the store, and use barcode scanners to count inventories and perform sale transactions. Is thjat correct? Thanks for considering me.
