This is a quick and a small project that involves design of AC to DC rectifier and regulator for a specific industrial application. Roughly the design must be based on an SMPS transformer similar to the one employed in daily mobile chargers or LED drivers. The design must be efficient with features like short-circuit-protection, over-voltage/current-protection, etc. The power consumption of the design must be the least possible and be able to deliver DC 12 volts with 2 amps of current followed by 5 volts and 3.3 volts with 2 or 4 amps of current sourcing capability across the output. Initially a schematic of this design is expected which is to be followed by testing / prototype building / designing the same in PCB design software like EAGLE with all the essentials(masking, legend, etc) needed for rendering and the PCB manufacturing. The above criteria puts a constraint on availability of components, so its recommended that the design must contain electronic components that are easily available in India.
