I require a new function to be used in native excel to (1) perform a worksheet calculation and (2) run a macro, automatically, depending on a cell value. For instance, the equation "=IF(A1=1, CALCULATE(10),0)" should automatically start/restart worksheet calculation if the cell value in A1=1. Note, the point of this functionality is to not have to use VBA. The macro-running function may be something like "=IF(A1=1, runmacro("modulename''),0)". The purpose of this function is to run a macro, then STOP running the macro, and then automatically continuing a sheet calculation. I want to have a macro perform a copy-paste routine to record data, then exit vba and run the worksheet as if I pressed F9, outside of VBA.
