Dear Sir/Madam, I have 4 years experience in Excel and Access VBA programming. I recently created a similar tool to customer who leads a small company of copyright management. I created an Excel based solution in which admins can input new authors, their books and other documents via userforms. The system can be used to track payments for the authors on weekly and monthly basis. Users can generate reports and send automated mails informing authors about their approved works and payments. For you project however I would recommend and Excel-Access combined solution. As most people are more comfortable with Excel, the user interface would be created in it. But the tables that will store the client, order, invoice and payment details would be stored in Access file placed on a common drive, so the changes made by one user could be instantly seen by others. Hello there, I reviewed the document you sent and would like to inform you that I have done similar order tracking systems for some of my clients. The systems I designed have had all the features you mentioned and perhaps more. For your purpose, I would suggest a Control Panel kind of view where there are buttons to perform each function. Like for example, a button to present the Order form, a button to generate the invoice, a button to record payment and so on. Each button shows its relevant form which allows easy entry of data. Once the form is submitted, the data is stored and could be retrieved by other functions in the spreadsheet or by reports etc. I am an expert in Excel and done more than 500 projects here on freelancer itself. For your project I would recommend an Access database, which would allow concurrent users/data entry, something that could be a problem with just Excel. An Access database would allow multiple users to log in and use the application simultaneously.
