Design tree pages with photoshop or Illustrator

1.1 Design Exercises A series of design exercises will be undertaken during tutorials. The best of these must be printed out and presented in your A4 portfolio. The portfolio is to be either a hard-case portfolio or some other good quality presentation folder/case. Each piece of exercise work must be mounted (using glue or spraymount) on black card and presented in a clear plastic wallet. Care must be taken in making sure all cut edges are straight and that the presentation of your work is neat and professional. 1.2 Interface Design 3 different styles of website as detailed above. Homepage designs only designed in Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Design in Photoshop/Illustrator only. DO NOT take this into Dreamweaver or code it in any way. The emphasis of this module is visual design and aesthetic considerations. The finished designs to be printed out and presented in your portfolio 2.3 Workbook A4 size with white pages. Must contain: Source materials / Moodboard materials (eg. examples of type, colour, logo, layout design) Mindmaps and word association ideas Sketches to illustrate your ideas 2.4 Analysis of your design Single side A4 minimum. Write and overview and analysis of your project describing your design decisions and considerations in choosing the different elements in your 3 styles of design (ie. Overview of your intended audience, and why you chose the specific fonts, colours and logo designs for each)
