This project is a sub-module of our project. We have implemented special CPU in FPGA and we need compiler for it. Our CPU has 16 assembly commands only. Project must take C code as input and machine code as output. For translating C code into assembly MikroC can be used. then We need assembly to HEX converter written in Java. Hello, I know I lack enough details, so I am no in the position to make suggestions. But what is your opinion on open source tools? Your plan also seems quite reasonable. Can you provide more details please? If it is only to convert ASM text to binary with java, then may be it is easier than it sounds.
