Hello I can help you with your backup script project, I do have extensive experience developing and deploying with similar instances for over 15 years. There are a few queries I would have regarding the security of your requested method, some of which may have alternate options available, including using a Private Key Pair for logging in with SSH and using MySQLs secure login-path option, as opposed to storing your keywords in plain text anywhere, creating a potential attack vector. Hi. I can do the script for you. Have done similar during my work. I also have couple of improvement suggestions. But of course if you do not like them, I can do it your way.

I can easily write a script for this. Are all IP's going to be saved in one file? Does MySQL DB are accepting connections from remote hosts or script need to ssh inside of the machine first? Is mailing program installed and configured and email are being delivered if sent from a terminal?
