Hi, I'd like to help you with the problems you're having with DNS, I've been working with it for over 10 years now from simple A records to SPF and SRV records, subdomains, even IPv6 PTRs (which I'd say are the most painful to set up). I have a standardised template that I use to set up each zone which makes things rather quick and easy to deploy, the only factor in determining how long this will take is how many domains and subdomains you would like to set up and how many individual records are in each. Is it possible to clarify what DNS server software you intend on using, and the number of domains you intend to host?
