Badge style logo for independent artist

Need a very good vector based artist who is good in Illustrator to create a logo for us. This is for a musician, and we have an idea of what we want. If you have a fairly large portfolio for logos, please send over your work. We are looking to create a badge style logo for one of our artists. The font we want to use is Sable, and it is fairly thin, and one of the letters looks like a b instead of an h. We would need to have the fonts redrawn to match the thickness or line weight of badge. We want the logo to be icon/symbol based. Below are some images to get an idea of a badge, but we could not find a good example of a vector based logo as an example. So the images below are just for you to get an idea. You are free to use any colors you want but the client definitely wants to use burgundy and black. We want a book in the middle of the badge, and you can add some extra decoration like the sun in the background or something with leaves around it, or a star or something. The object is to make the logo look like a College Fraternity type Badge. The logo should match the website as well. I will send over a rough sketch of what we want, but will need your email or some other way to send it because firefox keeps freezing on me when I attempt to upload. Also the logo should match the site (which is in development now), I can also arrange to show the website to the winning bid. Here are some examples of badges for you to get an idea.
