ASP eBay spider / online database

This project will be a website where people who subscribe can view a database of items on eBay that received more than 25 bids. Being able to view these items helps users determine which items on eBay are popular. The app will run from a hosted Windows 2K server and must be built entirely in ASP/VBScipt. It will use SQL Server 2K as a database. ASP.Net is also an option. The app will, once each day, scan recently-completed items across the entire eBay site (this will take some time), and enter qualifying items into the database. I am a VB Coder and I am very familiar with spidering eBay and how to request completed items from eBay categories, so I can help with mapping out the spidering scheme. Basic information will be collected for each item, including the item number, the title, the ending date, the number of bids, and the category in which the item appeared. This database will be available to subscribers to the site. They will be able to log in and view the items, which will sorted by category. For instance, a user will be able to choose to view the items in the antiques category, and will be shown all the antiques item, which will in turn be sorted by which sub-category they appeared in. Obviously, the site will also need password protection and a database of registered users. We would also like a simple online control panel where we can view and edit user information. The rest of the database we can access using Enterpise Manager. This site's initial functionality is basic. In the future, I would like to add the ability to search the database by keyword, and have users recieve email when new items appear in their chosen favorite categories. Clean, organized code and elegant user interface is very important to us. Coders who are familar with object-oriented ASP scripting will be favored. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working application and complete source code of all work done. 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 3) Signed NDA and non-compete agreement. ## Platform Windows 2K Server
