I would like for you to write an ASP site that uses our existing SQL 2005 server to allow employees to track the following information: - Order number - All component serial numbers that make up that order - Tracking (UPS, etc) number stored when item ships - Allow file attachments (.doc and .pdf files) Some examples: Let's say item 1 is a 500GB hard drive. When item 1 is received from our vendor, I'd like this database to record the Purchase Order # and the serial number of the hard drive. Then later, when we sell this hard drive and it's one of a dozen components in an order, I'd like this database to track that order number, track all the individual serial numbers of the order, and then be able to search and follow links on fields. So lets say if I search on PO#, I will come back with all serial numbers on that PO. If I click on a serial number, it will come back with an order number and purchase order number where that serial was recorded. Last I'd like to make everything editable by web page and also allow for file attachments to be associated with order numbers. For purchase orders, the attachment would be a packing slip for example. For sales orders, it would be internal documentation useful for us to later troubleshoot this order. I have an IIS 6 server on Windows 2003 Server. I also have a separate SQL 2005 server. This would be an internal use application.
