Better system for changing order

have a drop down box on an ASP web page that fills with the items of inventory on our current quote. We have an "Up" and "Down" link that processes a order change to move selected row up or down in order of list. PROBLEM: If you have many items in list and have to move an item up 20 rows - each time you execute the move - you loose the scroll position and have to scroll all the way back down - find the item again press the link and do that same process 20 times (very frustrating and inefficent!) I need a BETTER system ASAP - maybe even take the list to a new page and display two identical lists - pick item to move on one list and location to move to on the other list? or if you have a better idea? - we just have to make this process much easier and faster.
