Client Management System Development

1. Background 1.1 Our client has invited us to design a client management system where they can manage all clients, staff time sheets and reporting. 1.2 As discussed with the client a web based system is the most beneficial as they can access client data from any computer - .NET is the chosen platform for the system. 1.3 Currently they do not have a system in house to manage clients easily as it is being done in Microsoft Word documents and templates. 2. What our client is looking for 2.1 A clean, modern and stylish software system which also looks very polished and professional. 2.2 A system that is easy to use and logical (for example, a back button to get you back to home and relevant menus available on each screen). 2.3 Flagging of client records that require updating at a pre-determined date and time. 2.4 Our client shall be able to track time spent on a particular client so that they can bill them accordingly. Ability to produce time sheets at anytime for a staff member that accesses the system 2.5 System should have an email out feature where consolidated reports can be emailed to the relevant section manager directly from the system. 2.6 A comprehensive case template that maintains client contact and information on all activities 2.7 Administration area where new users can be created for the system and an area where permission levels can be set on each client. 3. Timeframe 3.1 A basic system including design and basic system development is required within 2-3 days from now 3.2 The system needs to be up and running within 10 days from now. 4. System Access 4.1 256 bit encryption (certificate will be supplied) 4.2 Developer to install system on windows server 2003 4.3 System access should be broken into 3 sections after logging in.
