I have a login to a website. After I login, I click a link that takes me to a page with a .cfm extension (Cold Fusion?). On this page there are a number of Excel (.xls) files. I manually select a particular file, save it on my PC, open it in Microsoft Excel and then save the first tab of the worksheet as a .CSV (comma separated flat file). I need a program that will do all this automatically (programmatically). This program will reside as a cron job on a Linux box. It will go to the website, programmatically login and see if a new Excel file has been posted for the day (file name will be <something><MMDDYYYY>.xls). If not, exit. If yes, then get the file and save all the columns of the first tab in the worksheet as a comma separated flat file (.CSV file).
