This is a Phase 1 project that requires a brilliant coder who has great DSP experience and great assembler programming skills.
CSR make a Bluetooth chipset that has a proprietary DSP onboard called called Kalimba <[login to view URL]>
you should also download the user guides before bidding for this work <[login to view URL]>
and <[login to view URL]>
The project requires that a GSM compatible voice codec can run on the Kalimba DSP, you will need the source code for a suitable GSM voice codec, and then port this codec to the Kalimba DSP.
Once you have ported the codec to the Kalimba DSP and have it working with another Bluetooth headset ( that is paired to a normal Nokia 6310i mobile phone ) , then Phase 1 is complete.
Phase 2 is subject to an NDA, and will be given to the successful winner of Phase 1.
Phase 2 requires that the GSM codec is modified on the Bluetooth headset in a very specific way.
