card sorting on web

I want to provide users with the capability to click, drag and drop items from a long list of items into categories and I want to do this on the web. The items will typically be text that I will create uniquely for each project and multiple projects will occur simultaneously. Moving the items from the long list into categories must have click, drag and drop functionality. The user of this tool will create the categories and click, drag and drop items into the folders that they [the user] create and name. Users will need the GUI interface to clearly allow them to create a folder and then type in a name for that folder. The user will not know which folders they need to create at the outset so they may create one or two folders, sort some items into those folders, then create a few more folders and sort more items and so on until the complete sorting all of the items into a folder. Once the user has completed moving items to folders they need to indicate they have completed the work. I anticipate there is “finished & save?? button that appears when they have completed their task. Assume a login in screen in which a user logs in with a username and password and based on that information they are directed to the correct project. Assume that multiple projects will be running simultaneously so the login process needs to send the user to the correct project. There will be multiple projects with multiple users. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
