Convert XHTML/CSS Website into WordPress Theme (w/ Shopping Cart)

We are an Online Apparel company that has been in business for 2 years now. We have a website that we love and fits our style a lot, however, it needs to be made easier for us to update, easier for customers to navigate, better SEO capability, and lastly, a simple shopping cart must be integrated. The scope of this job is as follows: - Convert our XHTML/CSS Website in to a (WC3) valid WordPress theme - Keep as close to our original design as possible - Add shopping cart capability to the site (WP-eCommerce) This is pretty much the basics of the job. Obviously, there are more details to go over, but this is the broad scope. :-) Thanks for reading!! ## Deliverables Here are the steps in the project for what we need.... 1) Analyze our current website and gain familiarity 2) Create a fresh WordPress install (latest version available) 3) Convert our current website layout INCLUDING MAKING THE BLOG FUNCTION WORK WITH OUR LAYOUT (excluding main page content **We will be redesigning this ourselves**) 4) Verify that the site has successfully been converted to a working WP theme 5) Integrate the WP-eCommerce plugin/software to match our website design in order to handle the addition of our apparel products **NOTE:** We will want to stick with the basic layout of our products as they are for the shopping cart. HOWEVER.... 6) We will need some light design work on the product pages and shopping cart page to generally match our site (so it's not totally generic). We will probably customize more later, but we require the coder to at least provide a basic custom look (**We will provide further details about this aspect of the project when this point has been reached**) 7) Assist to migrate the new site/theme over to our root directory on our server to prepare for launch. This includes verifying that the current features that work on our site are migrated over to the new site (ie: email list sign up, twitter, password protected download page). **NOTE:** This will just be moving the files over to our server/root directory. Satisfactory completion of this step will consist of the same working functionality of the site, as it was on the test environment, on our server. Those are the details. The finer points will be discussed after we get started, but this should provide an ample description of the task at hand.
