Creating a Station dashboard chart in SWF format with Laszlo and Fusion Charts (075)

[login to view URL], in the attached zip file, is dynamic chart showing information on radio listening. Your task is to produce this chart based on data held in an XML file. The system you write is must be based on Laszlo ([login to view URL]), Fusion Charts ([login to view URL]) and XML data using the XtabML dialect (see www.XtabML.org.) You need to familiarize yourself with these tools, all of which are free downloads, before starting work. The [login to view URL] chart has two drop down lists and a set of two radio buttons. Depending on the choices a user makes, six histogram charts (of which four are visible at any one time) and four gauges are shown for the radio station chosen. You can see how this operates by playing with T1A.swf. To undertake this project you need: • An understanding of Laszlo and its XML dialect which is called LZX • Experience of XML dialects and willingness to learn how to use XtabML • Willingness to learn how to use Fusion Charts in a Laszlo context • Javascript The attachment contains a specimen XtabML file, T1D.XML. We will be pleased to answer any other questions. We will test it by applying a different XtabML data file.
