Api for sending sms

I see that your have attached Windows application for SMS sending. No documentation, no programming API on any language. Fortunately it is possible to send AT commands to any modem. You wrote that you making a web interface. So I do not need to write web interface. Am I right? My vision of my part of project is next: I can write Windows command line application (or use existing application). It will receive command line parameters (mobile number, text), send corresponding AT commands to stick and thus way send SMS. You will have possibility to run this command line application from PHP. I can wrap these commands to PHP class for your convenience. Such a way you will get something like API. There are some open source solutions. If your modem is connected to Linux, it is possible to use Asterisk. If your server is Windows server, may be Gnokii can help.
