See the attached documents for overview of what is going on with the feed we get from our partner The following are some notes from our developers about the feed. They should help your team understand what's going on: Properties and property data will change on a daily basis and we require that you update what you're displaying on a daily basis. Since we're not implementing any concept of change logs or what properties are no longer active, you will need to pull down every property each day. The XML files will be updated daily by 1:00 am (EST) and written to gzipped files each containing 3K property elements at most. The main directory has auto_index enabled so you could use a common scraper to pull down the files in this directory. The auto index page would also allow your scraper to easily tell if the files have been updated. An updated example file has been placed in the directory and will be left there. It's only updated to fix some spelling and to add periods where newlines do not show up in browser based XML. We will be using Google Analytics for tracking, so each URL should be appended with the following string: "?utm_source=globallylocally&utm_medium=csynd&utm_campaign=xml". When we go live, we will test to ensure the tracking is working correctly. Please make sure you honor the "show_exact_address" field if you display the property on a map and under no circumstances should the address of the property ever be displayed.
