Conversion tracking help

Help add conversion tracking through my Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Yahoo Sponsored Search accounts. I have very basic html skills. Through reading tutorials, have added Google Analytics. but cannot figure out how to really see where sales come from. Basically want a conversation with you, hold my hand through the process of properly installing conversion tracking, so that I can see exactly where sales come from.
