BUSINESS CASE As I surf different pages on the internet, I need to be able to save some information in the database via a Chrome Extension. FUNCTION IN DETAIL 2.1 DIFFERENT PAGES Mainly for stock recommendation pages such as [login to view URL] I will use Chrome bookmark to remember my favorite pages so there is no need to keep it anywhere in Chrome Logger, however, as I navigate different pages, Chrome Logger need to be able to recognize if information for this page has been saved or not. If so, saved information need to retrieve from the database and show it up. 2.2 SAVE SOME INFORMATION As I navigate different pages, I will decide if I want to save some information relating to this page or not. Fields need to be saved are as follow: 1. Page URL (automatically retrieve from navigation page, but I need to still be able to edit it) 2. Input Date (use time now) 3. Business Date (input manually) 4. Adviser Name (input manually) 5. Stock Code (input manually) 6. Buy or Sell (input manually) 7. Trade condition (input manually) 8. Target Price (input manually) 9. Stop Loss (input manually) 10. Time Period (input manually) If the pages has been saved already, 1-10 above will be retrieved and if the page has not been saved before, only the 1. Page URL and 2. Input Date will be automatically populated 2.3 CHROME EXTENSION Chrome Logger needs to be Chrome Extension either as page action or browser action (see [login to view URL]). It can be display in one of the form below. 1st choice: Option 3: always docking without covering page content 2nd choice: Option 1: always showing outside of chrome browser without covering page content 3rd choice: Option 2: click and show like most of the Chrome extensions.
