Domain Mapping we're currently using [login to view URL] Background: Our Master Website Creation Database (MWCDB) resides on it's own VDS server. It functions for the purpose of creating a number of Satellite (network) Websites – that are to be hosted on a number of Satellite servers. Objective-1: To activate the WPMUdev Domain Mapping Plugin on our Master Website Creation Database (MWCDB) for the purpose of mapping/configuring the domains related to the various Satellite (network) Sites - by choosing from a selection of IP addresses associated with the various Satellite Servers which will be used (standard administration within the WPMUdev Domain Mapping tool). Task-1: To write and install a PHP script that will configure Apache on the Satellite Servers, so that when domain searches terminate on Satellite Servers, the MYSQL look-up will be directed to the relevant files within our Master Website Creation Database (hosted on VDS server), rather than to MYSQL on localhost. Task-2: To provide on going Server Administration and support The chosen Server Administrator deliver Task-1 within an agreed timeframe and will be contactable during agreed working hours. All development and configuration will be co-ordinated by the appointed Project Manager (engaged full-time on the project).
