I am looking for a custom PDF viewer/ software for viewing PDF files that is for touch screen, similar to a shopping center Kiosk that cant be exited by everyday users. I have listed below in dot points the things I need the software to be able to do. • PDF reader / viewer • Opens with touch screen interface ( fullscreen, no file, edit etc) only. Large menu selection buttons in toolbar on one side. • Ability to scale pdf files when opened from already sized formats, A3 or A1 • Measure tool for distance with a snap to line/corners for touch screen, with option to select scale when measuring • Area measure tool also • Measuring tool allows you to enter scale • Ability to overlay to 2 pdfs over the top of each other, with one overlaying in an alternate colour. • Ability to mark up PDF with hand drawn notes and also a text box option. • Ability to save PDF's • Allow overlay to show the changes between 2 pdfs. • Allow actual size of PDF to show on screen, so A1 will so on 44-46inch screen will show to actual size. • Unable to exit the viewer easily, will run similar to a shopping centre kiosk. So general users are unable to exit the viewer and access other areas of the running PC. Maybe include finger press combo to exit? • Needs to work on a 2 touch, touch screen. • Needs a simply open file dialog, which just opens a folder view/list to open pdf files. But doesn’t allow the user to access other folders in the PC. Possibly the required load the files/folders by administrator?
