Hi employer, I have written several small network proto sniffers mainly for analysis of video data being transmitted over networks. I propose that we use wireshark as a starting point and build upon it. This allows for incremental delivery, portability, and a very strong foundation. Moreover, wireshark's base code is straight forward "c". Let me know if this is something that you would consider. Also, is there a particular application of the network analysis?
