Hi, Many of you must have bid for the same project some time back, and I am sure you would be able to recall. This is the same project back online for bidding once again for the final round. So all the best because this project has the ability to take you company in the global web development arena because of its magnitude and gurantees you a lifetime flow of money. The difference is : 1. We need it on urgent basis. Completion till May end, so ideally you would have to start within a week after understanding all the requirements. Still you would have more than 2 months for completing the project. 2. We are very very sure it cannot be done by a single person alone and requires 2-3 persons full time and cannot be taken up along with a full time job. 3. We have the project documentation completely ready and can be mailed as soon as we decide on the developer and intital requirements. Whats in it for me ? 1. If you can design it them your association with us would not stop and grow with us, we have other websites in mind also which we will launch after each six months total of 3-4 (they are relatively simpler just simple websites) depending upon how this project is shaped. 2. You not only receive your fee for this project but you would manage this project for us lifelong introducing new features, having schduled product updates after x months for a fixed per user fee of 6$ per client per year. A small example of your growth with us is we are targetting atleast 1000 clients by first six months... which means you earn 6000$ in the first six monts of our launch and more and more as we go along. Basically we pay you 50cents per client per month who uses our product and trust us hundreads loved our product. 3. This project would redefine your business level within your industry, we have a very tiny miny idea about the web development sphere but we are sure and you also know that projects like these give your company a geometrical sphere. Our Idea is to develop a Portfolio Manager like moneycontrol (dot) com and add advisory services to it. We have researched everything, spoke to people, done the feasibility studies and have an insight for the industry. In brief the Web Application (Product) would have the following features and can be divided into modules: 1. Client & Advisor Overview This pannel would include two windows for the client which present to him a snapshot of his portfolio and his comparative analysis. Two windows for the advisor which would present him a group and individual overview. Things to note in this section are - There are approx six charts, 1 dynamic chart, 1 different chart and the other 4 charts are exactly the same with minor variable changes appearing at different windows. 2. Different Portfolio Modules There are nine different asset classes which we wish to track in our portfolio. 3 are cash segment modules(stocks,, fixed income.etc.), 3 are for different derivative instruments(forex.etc.), 2 one for mutual funds and one for Insurance and the last one is for tracking net assets. Things to note in this section - users would enter their portfolio holding and the returns, leverage, portfolio risk, returns.etc. should be calculated based on current quotes which could be either live quotes or end of the day closing prices of stocks. Explained in the Quotes section below. Also notes the derivatives section would be the toughest as it has margin, expiry and other requirements as well. 3. Transaction Statement & Portfolio Holdings This is one application and one backend application/formula which calculates and keeps track of what happens in the portfolio with respect to automatically adding entries for buy/sell of different asset classes. Relatively very very simple to design if the others are easy then this a peice of cake. 4. Advisor Pannel This is the brain of the entire project. It is responsible for delivering customized advisory stock tips via SMS, E-Mail and Yahoo IM at the click of the button. Points to Note - Customized SMS for each client which would be done by application(its easy we have figured that out), same message being posted to users who are online on Yahoo IM automatically at the click of a button and email. 5. Chat Applications & Live Support Live Support application you can install from anywhere and the chat application is for the users to interact amongst themselves. Points to note - Live Helpdesk is simple but the Chat application would be a single window integration with both Yahoo IM and users online on our Product, two shoutbox windows too. 6. Group Management & Performance Page The advisors can manage their client groups and issue logins and show their performance on our portal. Points to note - Group Management is easy but the users can be part of multiple advisory groups(we have figured out the logic and design). Performance page is a simple CMS page automatically introduced when a new advisor comes on the product. 7. Quotes Application If advisory is the brain then this is the spinal cord of the entire project delivers quotes either live or end of the day for the entire application. Quotes could be manually retreived from an end of the day csv file or excel. Points to Note - This would not be a simple application but would have support for real time quotes integration as well (initially we are not planning to have real time but later on), self checks in place like bonus, splits and adding new names and industry for incoming quotes. 8. Website Design & Registration Page You would completely desing our registration page which would allow users to signup for not only us but also our advisors by paying money. You would also design our complete web design which has 11 pages + 3 copyright note pages + 2 hyper links to our other website. SEO, logo [login to view URL] would also be done by you. Points to Note: 1. SMS Application Integration is required. 2. Payment Gateways need to be integrated. 3. Registration Page as well as the entire application is on SSL. 4. Different user set permission and access levels. 5. Dynaimic ability to quote the same. We would provide you with a semi-dedicated server(only during project completion till then you can use your development server), an SMS API and an SSL Certificate. Most of these projects are already there in sourceforge as different modules you just have to find the right one and fit it in obviously after a little code modification - SMS , Yahoo IM Code Library , Portfolio Tracker, Grahical Charting as well. Please note you need to have a company, need to have some projects which you can show us in the web development arena which include PHP+AJAX and you need to be designing some websites. We just want someone which fits our bill as we are just a startup so please bid after considering the per client fee as well, which is our token for all future developments perpetually to you even after you retire ;) We are open to discussions and we do not want you to be an expert in the financial investment domain, we will teach you all that dont worry at all, something which you can use all you life. The entire project would be divided into phases with deadlines on each phase and a final completion deadline exceeding it by 15 days would reduce the per client fee, not your project fee, by 1$(trust us its a lot considering the number of clients we would have). For us a time deadline is something which we honour and we want you to honour. 4. Project Status everyday or every alternate day is a must.
