simple PLC programming to automate a test

We need a simple program to automate some testing of a prototype. We want to use PLC controller to turn pumps and motors on and off. 4 outputs. We are assuming Eaton Series 500 or 700 controller. Small 12VDC pumps like aquarium. Want to be able to enter timing intervals ourselves, just need to get the parameters set up so we can enter the variables and run the tests ourselves. We need you to tells how many hours are required. In our minds this is a pretty simple job. Not for production of factory floor.
