We would like you to design our “Educational Consulting” business website. We provide educational consulting services to students and the website will be our only physical presence in the outside world. We want it to be of top-notch quality. The most important aspect of this project will be your creativity and graphic skills as a web developer. Project Details: Let’s start with some existing examples. We would like you to check some good educational consulting websites, such as, [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Our website will be similar to them with some additional features. Member Registration Capability: We would like our visitors to be able to register with us. Member Login: The registered users should be able to login in their private space and access the services they paid for. Forms: Information request forms; registration form; Discussion Forum: For visitors and members to post messages. Online Credit Card Payments: The website should have the capability to process online payments. Advertisements: We would like built-in space for advertisements, so that anyone can easily put in the new ads or replace the old ones and the billing system to be automatic for ads. Editorial Archive: We will have an article section on the Homepage. So you have to design a system that the editors can replace the articles without doing any programming and also an archive system for users to find the old articles. Search Engine Optimization Web Promotions In summary, we want a nice, simple to use and pleasing to customer website. If we select your bid, we will contact you and provide more details about the website and probably sit with your development team and discuss the creative aspect of the design. We are looking for a long-term relationship with our web development team as there will be more projects coming up in the near future. This is going to be a big factor in our selection criteria as we do not want to change web developers on regular basis. We expect only serious and professional developers to bid on this project.

Hi there, Dave here. I am certainly interested. My company has been around for a long time, so you’d never need to change again! (wink). As to the content, I‘d suggest using a CMS, (content management system) to deal with the site. It has built in Member/ User management. You can add/edit/delete content via online browser based admin area. It has a dynamic CMS for current news, content etc., newsletter application, Forum, Polls, download manager and contact forms. Search capabilities, Form manager, image gallery, and many other modules/add ons that can be adapted to suit. I do though have a ton of questions such as graphic elements (logo etc..), size and scope as well as Hosting environment? Also we’d need to develop a complete ‘features list’ for me to provide a formal proposal. Get in touch to discuss further.
