Please note that the front-end (CSS/HTML) is done. You are only responsible for the back-end of the website (RoR, SQLite) + the back-end for the iOS Hybrid app. This is for a website and ios hybrid app that allows users to find ideal nightlife venues and events around their city. Users can easily find these places and events through result pages. We have two type of users: Venue Owners (VO) The Client desires to develop a listing website for Bars, Nightclubs and Lounges. VO's can create profiles and events for their establishments and PG's can search for them. In addition, VO'S can claim venues that already exist in our database. Party Goers (PG) PG'S will be able to search venues and events on the website. They will also be able to sign up via email or via Facebook. PG's will be able to rate Venues and create a profile, and have a favorite list. PLEASE FIND ATTACHED A THOROUGH SRS FOR THIS PROJECT. We are a web development company based in San Francisco Bay Area. We are having a backlog of projects/clients and we are looking for a quality team/individual who can help us out on these projects. Hello! I'm a senior fullstack developer, 18+ yrs of experience, 6 yrs working with Rails. For your project, what I suggest at first is, to change the database to PostgreSQL. It's free as MySQL and sqlite ( which shouldn't be used on production projects) and have geolocation baked in, so the "venues in 1 mile radius" requirement should be an easy task, fast calculated at the database. PostgreSQL will help too on the search functionality by using fulltext and partial indexes. For the mobile app, my suggestion is to use the Ionic framework. With the same codebase, we can build the ios and android app, easily integrated to the Rails backend. Please, contact me if you have any questions. Thanks!

I always prefer quality over quantity and I have an eye for quality. I read your SRS document and after reading it I feel this project lands exactly on my sweet spot. I can achieve everything that you require without any hiccup and without any errors I use Git for all of my projects and jQuery too. Expecting a positive reply soon. And I applied for this job on UpWork too but with a lower bid, plus I think 3000$ is an overkill for this project.
