We have a VB.NET console application that is fetching some records from an API and dumping it into the CSV file as well as SQL server.
The problem is the duplicate records being inserted into the CSV file.
The API is in Json

Do you already know why do you get duplicate records? Is this the expected behaviour of the API?
How many records do you get by time unit?
I see that you mention that the problem is that you end up with duplicates in your CSV, but you didn't say anything about what happens on the SQL Server, so if you don't get duplicates in the SQL Server I assume that there is some kind of primary key that let you identify records, right? if this is the case then there may be a simple solution
