Data Extraction & Compliance Reporting

Please allow us to explain you the system requirement in detail: 1) Currently, we have a large no. of emails coming from our different work sites of our company on one email I.D. in the office. 2) These emails are differentiated from each other by the subject line as well as by the name of the file which is sent along with the email. 3) The software we require has to do the following: a) Extract all such emails from the existing mail box of outlook express and save them in a separate location on another computer. This is possibly simple and can also be done by mail rules. b) Upon collection of emails in one place, segregate them by their origin and subsequently by their content. c) As all contents are in CSV format, we have designed ourselves various Visual Basic Excel macros which convert these CSV files into excel files and further re-design the CSV information as required by us into excel files with requisite headers & columns and any errors in the data are examined & eliminated by the macros itself. The software will do this job for us automatically as against manual execution of the macros currently. d) Subsequent to converting these files into excel, the same will be saved into separate directories. e) The software will have a reporting module under which it will give out the total no. of emails received in the day, the origin of the same, the type of content & its accuracy. f) It will subsequently automatically assess the above information against a pre-defined bench mark and email back to the origin a report on their reporting performance viz-a-viz prescribed bench marks. g) An automatic summary of all such assessments and their response by the system at the end of the month etc. We hope to have conveyed you the need in detail. .
