First, my most salient qualifications: I have a Ph.D. in Romance languages, specializing in Spanish. I have taught Spanish (beginner to survey literature courses) at university for 10 years, and am about to start my 11th. My speaking and listening skills are near-native, code-switching with little effort. Much of my research was done in Spanish, and I married into a South American family (Colombian). I have traveled extensively and am quite comfortable with most varieties of Spanish. Transcription is a basic part of any serious student of language, and I have a great deal of practice with it. I would like to know further details of your project, such as: 1) What are your specific preferences (personal, professional, or otherwise) regarding formatting? 2) What is the topic of the interview? 3) What is/are the variety/ies of Spanish used?
