C# Disable standby/hibernate/power options and screen saver

I have a program that is meant to run for extended periods of time without the user's direct input. So, I need reliable C# code that is able to temporarily disable ALL power options, such as hibernate, sleep, standby, shut down, and so on.. I also need a separate function to temporarily disable screensavers. I need to be able to re-enable the power options and screensavers if my program closes or finishes processing. The code needs to remember the previous settings of the user, and re-enable them according to the user's preferences, if this is necessary. I don't want to interfere with the user's windows preferences at all, I just need to temporarily disable power options/screen savers. From what I have read, the windows API should work for this and using the registry should not be required. I don't want to use the registry and risk changing the user's windows settings permanently. Needs to work on 95/98, 2000, XP and Vista. At least 2000+ if 95/98 is not possible. Must be in C#. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
