Evaluation
• A written evaluation of the advert. You will need to identify the target audience, the
proposed broadcasting medium and the mode of delivery for the advert.
• You should refer to the specifics of the brief to analyse and evaluate to what extent you
have met the client’s objectives. In addition you should identify those aspects of the
advert that are not as successful.
• Above all this evaluation should be concerned with what is actually presented to the
viewer – what do we see, what do we hear? You should consider how your use of
film/video language (images, sound & motion) communicates the different ‘messages’
that are embedded in adverts.
• Reference to relevant Media and Cultural theory should be made in this evaluation.
