Enable website with AWS API Gateway and ACM SSL certificate

Milestone 1: I have a website with a domain name pointing to an IP address. Everything is working fine that way. Now I need to insert AWS API Gateway in the middle. The domain name should point to API Gateway and the API Gateway should redirect to the IP address. I have tried doing that with "proxy" option of API Gateway and "ANY" http method, but something is broken. The menu links don't work, and the CSS doesn't load. I wonder if this is related to Rails Routes of my website but I doubt it because without the API in the middle, everything works fine. I need someone to fix the settings of the API so the website works with the domain name just like it works now without the API. I will provide the AWS IAM credentials you need. Milestone 2: Use AWS ACM SSL certificate to enable SSL. Payment: Half on completion of Milestone 1, balance half on completion of Milestone 2.
