Health/Medical Journalist - repost

I will keep this simple and sweet. We can work out the details. We are in need of someone with published experience writing news articles for print or online publications. Preferably in the health / medical industry, but this is not required. If you are capable of researching, interviewing, calling, and gathering the information, then you will accomplish the same goal: Educating our users on the latest news. The industry of the website is Alopecia / Hair Loss / Autoimmune Disease / Cosmetic Surgery / and related topics. Anything going on in the industry (conferences, new studies published at PubMed, new products, new research announcements, etc) are all relevant to our users. Even more fun-centric articles focused on helpful tips, tricks, hints. Inside looks into various aspects (of which there are tons) of the industry, whether it be experiences with wigs, where to buy, what to look for ... cosmetic surgeons, what techniques they're using, whats coming soon ... treatments ... what is in the pipeline at pharmaceutical companies, etc. The list is nearly endless. Most important things: I need to see your other work online, published somewhere. Please be able / willing to do the footwork to get comments and quotes, interviews, snippets from sources or the topic being covered. This won't be required for every article, as many will just be informative, but if you're able to do it, this is a plus. Google plus has a "Publishers" and "Authors" feature that is extremely important for rankings, where we tie your Google Plus profile to our website profile, and feature you as an official contributor. This lends legitimacy to us, and gets your reputation out there as well. Please have a Google Plus account (or be comfortable setting one up) which we can link to. I am looking to hire more than one writer, as we need to get our news center rolling again, and would like to have a constant flow of things to tweet, publish, and draw traffic.
