Report writing

The report comprises a critical analysis of the use of satellite remote sensing data. - The Question will be: - Can global positioning satellite data be used to detect wind speed and direction in the Persian Gulf for naval operations ? Title Abstract Introduction Methods: succinct description of data sources (at least one type of satellite data, sourced from Giovanni, USGS, [login to view URL], NSIDC or similar) and analytical approach. Provide a full description of the analysis, whether you choose to use Giovanni or Matlab (or another package) to do the work. Results: present qualitative results in the form of legible graphs and/or maps; introduce each figure in the text, be sure to include correct axis and colour bar labels; present the results of quantitative analysis, such as linear regression, either in-text or in tables. Discussion: can be merged with section 5 - discuss what the results say in respect of your research question or problem, and how your findings compare with other published results. Be critical - what are the problems with the data, the analytical approach and the hardware/software used? What further work is needed?
