Looking for a Windows-based application for use as part of a photobooth kiosk. Should be able to run full-screen automatically with no scrollbars or header/footer showing. Application will be simple director to allow a user to select an option and then start the appropriate software.
The welcome screen should be able to either play a flash file or a PNG image file from a user-specified location. If using an image file, application must also be able to play a separate sound file for instructions.
Welcome screen will display until user presses a physical button connected to 2-wires on DB9 connector or uses a touchscreen. Program must support 4 buttons and 4 or more touchscreen regions.
User should be able to specify which program will start for each button/region press. Would be nice if up to 5 source files and destination paths could also be listed in the configuration for the software to copy templates associated with each button/region into needed directories. At button click software will need to allow another full-screen application to be displayed.
All user configuration should be in a GUI. Data can be stored in any kind of file structure. Configuration must include an ability to specify a maximum number of times the user can select a button/region and/or an ending time based on the PC clock. Software must include a reset function for this value. At each run the number of times used and/or the time remaining will be displayed in the lower right corner.
When the max number of times or ending time is reached the application will display a user-specified PNG image or flash file. The file will rotate until the application is closed.
