HI there, Many years ago I worked for Nomura the Japanese investment bank , on their equities trading floor. All SW was developed using C++ running on UNIX Servers; and Clients /Trader work stations running o WIndows , developed using Visual C++. Hi, I have posted an offer to your project on Upwork too. I will just paste that here again. I think that I am the perfect fit for your project. I am a C++ programmers with more than 6 years of effective experience (the rest of the 12 years I had various management positions). I am also doing a bit of trading on forex myself and the past year I have developed various tools for trading systems (MT4, MQL and other stuff). I do have experience with gnu gcc, make files and working under Unix/Linux. I am located in Bucharest Romania and I am absolutely sure that I can alter the program so it overlaps at least a few hours with yours. If you are interested to work with me please answer to this message and we take it from there. Last app that I have done is multithreaded. In fact most of the apps that I have done are multithreaded. Note: today computers have 4 cores so it is hard to make a single thread app... I have no experience with FIX protocol but I after briefly looking on it's wikipedia page I see no problem in working or implementing it. Last piece of software takes ticks from a MT4 system and does some stuff at the data and after that creates the 1 min OHLC candle and sends it to another piece of software. Yes, I have worked multiple times with MySQL and Postgres SQL. I have never worked with MongoDB but I do not see any problem there. As about the money - I can not put an offer lower than 25 USD/h, but the effective rate that I charge is 15 USD/h. Best Regards!
