The ciphertext was generated with a Vigenere cipher, with a reasonable key length (<10). Create a program in C, C++ or Python which takes the file as input, calculates the key length and decrypts the text. Ideally the program is not heuristic, but automated, using the keylength attack and the subsequent shift cipher attack from the lecture (both based on Index of Coincidence). Use a reasonable threshold for the keylength attack to automate the program. The text is too short for a successful Kasiski trigram attack.. Please add comments to the code.
