We need an IT engineer with very strong network skill in Singapore Tuas. We need to provide Optical Professional Services (equipment installation, test and turn-up) for a globally on undersea fibre optical cables. The first project is on the SEA-ME-WE-4 undersea cable and involved landings spots in Tuas. We would like to have an engineer with optical transport technologies (specifically Cisco NCS1K and NCS2K equipment) eperience. This would involve using a portable / temporary compliment of Cisco NCS equipment and test gear to test across the undersea cable from Chennai to Tuas. The testing would take approximately 3-4 weeks on site. After the trial, we will install and turn up the permanent equipment.
