I am looking for a database type program which can also be run on an iPad for my vertical blind business so when I go out to measure someones windows I take all the details etc and then it will print various sheets out for us to manufacture the blinds, this will include various reports depending on the type of order and type of blind the customer orders. I will also need the database to be able to do calculations so when we go out to measure then it will work out the price of the order to the customer automatically. Also if it is possible then the data can be transferred from the ipad to the laptop for printing orders and worksheets in the factory. All this without having to be in the factory to transfer the order to the main datbase.

For running on an iPad SQLite is the best option,Other than that you can use any database but as a consultant I suggest you SQLite.
