Design a database to log phone call metadata, and associate a given call to the owner of the phone number and also associate the phone call to a specific legal case and associate it with a specific item/billing code that is associated with rates that change. The call also has to keep a human manually added narrative.
We have the court jurisdiction reports properly formatted and working, now all we need a means to have a proper system design to store millions of phone calls and keep the associations straight.
