My book is a Crime/Thriller (not police procedure). It's about 79,500 words.
It has been beta read many times, edited once and line edited twice. It keeps getting better. I had a POV issue in the first of the book but that was fixed, except maybe the first chapter (new chapter).
My big issue now is in my dialogue, the characters voices. I was told many of my characters sound the same, except my gangsters and the robbery scene.
I would like someone to offer their voice for the female lead as you do track changes on a line edit. She is Trish, a 33 yo ex-military, ex-cop, and currently a PI from Texas.
As much as you can, you could also offer small changes in the other characters.
I am not looking for a big wholesale change just a word or line, catch phrase, here or there to mix it up.
Of course, leave my main character Jeff Case alone.
I also need to know whom you are: name (LinkedIn profile or any social media profiles). Your age, some background too.I just need to know who is working on my novel.
The story and characters are strong; this is the last step as per my potential agent, before a final proofreading.
If interested let me know, tell me how much, about when you can start, and about how long it would take. Plus I'd like you to do a sample chapter for me. It would be a chapter with Trish having some dialogue in the chapter of course.

Just to be clear - this is a job for editing the written word - right? Just confused by your inclusion of audio services and voice talent in the skills section.
I would obviously have to go through the entire book and get a feel for the personality of the character and compare her to the other characters before deciding how to proceed with changing her - dialogue expresses character. Given what you've said about her (her background) - I'm guessing she has a stick up her ass. She doesn't like men much (she's afraid of them because of something that happened in her childhood) so she's become a ballbuster and professes to do things by the book, but she'll actually do whatever she pleases because she has her own sense of justice. Then there has to be something that makes her melt ... perhaps she has a child, a secret lover (probably a woman). OK, that's all me going crazy on your character that you've already developed. Sorry, I was on a roll. How close did I get to how you've written her?
