I Will use either Kicad or Eagle. 2 layer is enough. we can use Chinese manufacturer to manufacturing PCB. I will assist you to do it. Hello. Im designing different electronics devices, mostly based on avr, arm MCUs and boards with them like arduino, stm-discovery etc. (autopromotion^)) Hi. There are no DACs with a lot of chanels. I see 2 variants here: 1 - mcp4728 - 4ch i2c dac. so you need 8 of them. They can be either controlled by 8 separate lines or by one cuz it has 3bit address setup. But addresses should be programmed previously - no possibility to separate them when they are on 1 bus already. 2 - mcp4725. It is small 1 channel dac. so you will need 32 of them. Each has external 1 address pin, so 2 dacs can be controlled via 1 mcu line. A nd no need to do magic with prior addresses preprogramming. 16 data lines + 1 clock line - arduino's atmega328 has enough pins. Plus there are module boards with this DAC IC - so you can test on protoboard. I like this variant most. I can do previous design to test, design pcb later, do programming. Can assemble prototype and ship. Lets talk. Bid is not final due to lack of detailes for now.

You will not find a decent DAC in DIP package or for bread board testing. Also for 32 channels controlled via I2C will have addressing problems mainly because most of the are meant for max 8 configurable addresses. I will suggest you to go for DAC8552 16 bit DAC (each one has 2 channels voltage output) and its SPI based. TI product and decent quality. A bit pricy, but I can offer you suppliers who will give you lucrative price without compromising the quality. To test the performance you need to build the prototype (or as a final product as I dont know volume of this production will be needed) and test it. I have outstanding working experience in Analog domain and having precision tools as well. In case if its a production design then we can discuss and I can offer you finished tested design as well as sample working prototype. However this bid includes Schematic design and PCB design only. As you have mentioned best solution would be to use multiple DAC controllers via I2C/SPI(is also a solution). We can do some research and find the best suitable one for you. Hello, for controlling 32 analog signals we can use a multiplexer and a digital to analog converter. And, yes that can be configured for 12 bits. Please could you share the proper details like any file or sth ?

I will create a PCB containing four MAX5825BAUP ICs (each one has 8 channels, 12 bit), and using a common I2C bus to transfer data to all of them. I've worked with these devices in the past, so I'm quite familiar with them. I can have the schematic and PCB design done in 2 days. I'm a Canadian citizen, and an excellent communicator.
