The project is a DC power meter (not AC power) pay-as-you-go (PAYG), which is operated by pre-programmed codes that a customer can insert a code then be provided with energy (watt hours) of power according to how many watt-hours they pre-purchased - this information will be attached to the code they entered. It is very similar to prepaid energy meters on your home, but this is for much smaller scale, for DC power and not AC power and needs to be as simple and low cost as possible. I can discuss more information in private chat about it. We are looking for the following outcomes: 1. simple design outline (schematics not required at this stage) 2. simple BOM of components required 3. costing of the BOM of components The main outcome is to better understand the manufacturing costs of such a product, and not so much to actually design the product completely at this stage.
