Hi, My name is Abdelrahman, and I am an electrical power engineer, currently working as a research engineer in Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) research lab, Canada. I obtained my MASc. from the University of Waterloo (Canada), in electrical power systems. Also, I was also a teaching assistant at the University of Waterloo, giving hands-on tutorials and lab-sessions. A main part of my thesis was related to Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) on cyber-physical security. I also worked on multiple Neuro-Fuzzy coding for robotics projects. In addition, I have expertise in MATLAB, LabView, and Python for modelling power systems from my research and current employment. During summer 2018, I had an internship at EPFL (Switzerland), where I worked in the smart grids research lab. My main task was to code PV forecasting algorithms using LabView. Furthermore, I founded a robotics club during my undergraduate studies to teach younger students about Robotics and programming.
