Appen Project #12457 Speech Collection UK English

Appen has a new speech recording task for native speakers of UK English living in the UK, and we would like to invite you to take part in this project. The speech data collected will be used to train and enhance speech recognition programs that are supporting a variety of different software (e.g. search engines, virtual assistants, etc.). Participants will record themselves reading 200 short phrases on a free recording app from Google Play Store. Participation takes only 30-40 minutes on average. This is a paid opportunity and you will need to have a PayPal account in order to receive payment. *This project requires use of a recording app for Android devices.* Please note this is not currently valid on any other devices or operating systems (e.g., iPhone or iPad).
