There are various approaches to this sort of thing. (1) Solve analytically. Probably too complicated but I’d check. (2) circular references. Set up the spreadsheet with a circular reference and iteratively solve. This will usually work, but sometimes the calculation diverges. (3) Calculation macro. Similar to (2) but control the calculation a bit more tightly using a macro. I have done a lot of this type of work. There’s client feedback from a client whose financial model had a broken circular reference that was trying to calculate working capital requirements. Do get in touch to discuss timings. Jonathan
