SO i would go using that Hard Drive under Linux and try to recover it. or you try using Hire's boot disc and use the free hardware that already in the disc to recover your files with. etc Relevant Skills and Experience I worked as a computer help desk support and i did use many programs to recover lost files and data. and there are more programs out there that can do the trick for you. but they are not free. AssalamOAlekum, Deleting data is different than formatting the hard drive. It changes the structure of hard drive and removes the garbade i.e unrefefenced(deleted) data to maximum possible extent.
